Christmas is still a few months away, but before you know it you may have some clients who are interested in getting Christmas cards printed and it’s always good to be prepared. Seasonal promotions can be a great way to bring in some extra money from your photography, and Christmas cards are something that most families will be looking for within the next few months.
We have a few different products that can help with making it easy to offer Christmas cards to your clients this year. You can use these resources along with your photos to make memorable cards that your clients will love. These resources are photo overlays, and they’re very easy to use. It can be as simple as using one of your photos for the full size of the card front and then applying one of the overlays on top of it. Here are the different types of Christmas-themed overlays that are available.
Christmas Word Overlays – $19
This set includes 15 different Christmas and holiday themed quotes in .png and .psd formats. You can simply lay them on top of your photo and customize the overlay details like size and color. You can even edit the text if needed.
Christmas Badge Overlays – $19
This set of 10 badge overlays comes in .psd format. Again, you can customize things like the size, color, and text and lay the badge on top of a photo.
Christmas Shape Overlays – $19
Here you’ll get 15 different Christmas-themed shapes in Photoshop’s custom shapes format. You can easily add shapes of any size or color to decorate your photos and Christmas cards.
Free Templates for Christmas Card Backs
The idea of these products is to allow you to decorate your photos and easily create your own Christmas cards. But just in case your client wants a two-sided card, we also have created a set of templates that can be used as the back of your Christmas cards, and they are available for free. The set includes 4 different styles, each in horizontal and vertical orientations, and each in a two sizes, for a total of 16 different templates. The templates were designed with the size specs for Bay Photo Lab’s press printed flat cards with sizes of 5 x 7 inches and 4 x 5.5 inches.
