Today we are offering a free Photoshop action that can help you to create intense, dramatic effects with your photos. The action is called “Tension” and it is a sample from our set of 8 Intensify Photoshop Actions.
Tension will give your photos a darker, edgier look and feel. It can be used with a wide variety of different types of photos. Because of the sharpening that is applied, it is most suitable with images over 2000 pixels in width or height. The sharpening may be too strong for lower resolution photos, although you can hide the sharpening layer if needed, or reduce the sharpening through the smart object.
The download includes two different versions of the Tension action. One version is for Photoshop users (for PS CS4 or newer) and a separate version is included for Photoshop Elements users (for PSE 11 or newer).
